I guess if you don't read the patch notes and never visit Theramore...

I admit that I missed this on my mage when it came about.

IMO Stonard is much more useful for Horde than Theramore is for Alliance, especially for beginning raiders as it puts them closer to Karazhan than the only other reasonable option, The Dark Portal. Getting to Kara from any Horde major city is a joke, you've gotta take a flight to Org from Thunder Bluff or a portal or flight from Silvermoon to Undercity, and then once in Undercity or Org you have to take a zep to Grom'gol and catch another flight to...where? Stonard, of course. Alliance just portals to Stormwind and flies to Darkshire, Duskwood. I'd say more but I'm out of room in this commen

Nice job describing the trip from all Horde cities but only one Alliance city. Maybe it should be, "Getting to Kara from any Alliance city is a joke, you've gotta take a boat to Auberdine from Exodar or Darn, then a boat to Menethil, then fly from Menethil, Ironforge or Stormwind to Darkshire" Or, we can make the Horde trip sound reasonable, "Horde just portals to Org, zepps to Grom'gol and flies to Stonard". Clearly SW->DS is easier than Org->GG->Stonard, but let's try comparing apples to apples.

well, shouldn't we start to talk about SM instead then?... four instances for level 30-40(pre mount).. horde goes to Undercity and walk for 2 minutes. alliance have to fly from if to Southshore, then run/swim all the way up, takes 15-20minutes to take that trip if you don't have a mount...

Why would you set out from any Alliance city other than Stormwind? I mean, unless you're full of fail, a mage, or not yet 70, your hearthstone was set in Shattrath City prior to Wrath of the Lich King. Simply hearth to Shatt, take the portal, and be done with it. As far as comparing apples to apples, I was doing exactly that. Any Horde with any intelligence doesn't even go to one of their capitals to go to Karazhan, they FLY from Shattrath to the Dark Portal and then ride from there - unless they can get a portal to Stonard, which beings me all the way back to my first point.
