Edge of the Cosmos isn't THAT bad for a Warlock. It's got Stamina, which Warlocks love, and it's got crit, which all casters love. But it's not ideal for a caster, since it does have Attack Power, and has no Intellect. His reasoning for having it, however, is full of fail. http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28267

First off, I have a name and it's not "#2". Second, "Equip: Improves critical strike rating by 16" NOW does in fact affect spells (since the 3.0 patch that prepared for Wrath of the Lich King).

"Hit Rating, Critical Strike Rating, and Haste Rating now modify both melee attacks and spells." from the 3.0.2 patch notes. Regardless, it's still not an ideal weapon for a warlock.
