Ok, is this me or? On my server, there are tons and tons of gold sellers. What if a GM camps in og/sw in invisibility mode. And just smacks the entire ACCOUNT with his ban hammer the second someone spams a macro like that? Should get rid of the gold sellers alot faster that way, every time $15 for a new WoW account will have them refrain from spamming alot quicker.

Biertank: GMs don't sit in trade and general chats looking for spam, players have to report it first.

No, Trial account can't use numbered channels, only Party and Say - and they can't join a Guild. So no, they can't speak in General, or LocalDefense either.

Gold sellers don't use numbered chats though, they spam in /s

Most gold spammers do indeed just use /say but the ones that actually get noticed usually use Trade chat from a stolen account. There may be one of those for every thousand trial account spammers, but they're much more visible.
