Uploading content on WoW Bash is pretty simple, but some people just keep doing it wrong, and it drives us crazy. So listen up people, and read. The rules and advice below are simple too, and if your picture is not accepted on WoW Bash, it's probably because you didn't follow one of them.
How to upload
So, you've got an excerpt of chat where Minax says he's wanking instead of 'wanding'. So funny, so original. You probably want to upload that piece of chat on WoW Bash, next to the other million of images with the same typo. That's fine. Go to the upload page and fill the form. If your language is not listed, you might want to contact us and request a new language option.
Now browse to your image. This is where it gets important. You do not want, under any circumstances, to upload an image larger than 600 pixels, because it would break the layout of the site. If we were to accept an image larger than that, we'd have to change its width without changing its height : the image would be badly deformed. We don't want that, so images larger than 600px are not accepted by the admins. Please, also make sure you do not upload an image with a too big height. Even if it doesn't break the layout of the site it would not look very good. Images which are way too high will not be accepted either.
Cropping
This is probably the most important part of this page. You have to crop your images. That means you have to modify the image where your "oh-my-god-so-funny-lolz chat" appears because you only want to show the chat and, after all, we honestly don't care about the rest of the image. Let's see.

Fig.2: Good
Some people understand they need to hide the rest of the image, and it's a good thing, but they don't understand how to remove the rest of the picture. So here we are, with a 1024x768 or more picture, with only a small chat window. Needless to say, this is NOT good, either.

Fig.3: Not good. Oh god, so wrong.
Out of the three images above, only the second would be accepted (if it was funny, which is not the case).
How to crop
"But I'm just a peon! I don't have mad photoshop skills, I don't know how to crop! This is discrimination against non-photoshop users!" Fear not, we can help. There is a free software, named XnView, which is amazing for this. It's actually an image browser (much like ACDSee) with limited image edition capabilities. One of them being "Image cropping for the fool and the agitated". We'll use this one.
First, open your image in XnView. Then draw a square around the part of the image you want to crop by holding your left mouse button clicked. It doesn't have to be highly precise, because you can edit the selected area later on. You should have something like this :

Fig.4: Only the chat is selected
Now that your chat is selected, you simply need to go to the "Edit" menu, and select "Crop" in the list. Or just use the CTRL+Y shortcut. Et voilà ! Your image is cropped and ready to be uploaded.
