Pansies think 25 man is hardmode? Try getting 40 people all online at the same time, staying online for ALL NIGHT, then the same the next day, AND all doing what ya need em to.

I remember back in the day when I was young. We did 100man raids every day while fending off constant attacks by badgers, lions and tigers armed only with pointed sticks. Those where the truly hardcore times, oh yes indeed.

AB1, ya, as a vanilla player i would have to agree with you, mostly because I'm pretty upset by how hard it is to get 25 players in a guild these days, when i use to run 40 mans 4-5 days a week. or 2 20mans...

Wait till Cata drops, you'll see people bitching about how hard it is getting 10 people together. And you can forget about anyone raiding 25 mans lol, as most players follow the path of least resistance to get purples...

I personally will be sticking with my 25 mans. They just look and feel better than 10s. Besides, the "path of least resistance to get purples" in Cata is questionable. Blizzard stated that 10s and 25s will be equal in difficulty no matter what, and 25s will drop a ton more stuff than 10s will.

@Dragno More loot loot drops in 25 mans already >.> just to make up for more people in there. I do agree that 25s are more fun and "feel better" but equal in difficulty? Technically raids are equal now, there's just a slight difference between 10 and 25 people, more you have to rely on. Team effort if you will. This is why I quit WoW however, it's grown boring.

What blizzard said was that 25mans would drop more loot per player. For example, 10man boss drops 2 loots (1 loot/5 players). Thus, 25man boss has to drop at least 6 loots to drop more than 1 loot/5 players. But I still think most are going to do 10mans, at first at least. How much easier is to get 10 non-retarded players together compared to getting 25?

I quit WoW. @Anon 8: That makes more sense than all other things I've read, also they mentioned Valor points, so i guess that's a bonus. however, yes, people will be running 10s more, unless you're lucky enough to be on one of those servers that can run 25 man TOGC/25 ICC HM in pugs because of high population on your faction side.
