Pretty much, no one wants to tank or heal anymore. Since you can get gear almost as good as T5 by non-stop PVP.

It's far sadder for such a thing to occur for a normal instance, where non properly specced paladins/etc *should* be able to perform as heal/tank with a gear change (which fail players won't have of course). Ret paladin do now have the capability to be good DPS, not that the one in your PUG group is going to provide anything like that (which can be said for any bad dps really).

Holy ant Prot specced paladins have the exact same buffs, stop being useless and respec! Leave the dps to pure dps classes. Although in a casual raiding guild none of this matters, do what you like.

The joke is people still think PvE retribution is a joke. Two retribution paladins and an enhancement shaman. Assuming they're geared, Windfury with their 2H's will chew up stuff with ridiculous ease.

Well, I saw a few picture of 5 human paladins doing a full run in BF heroic (they all used Avenging Wrath for the screenshot). Pally DPS isn't THAT bad, but the picture still is laughable.

I'm a DPS Pally, and I can do 1.2k+ DPS. All about gear.

Anyone who calls retirins usless has no clue about endgame. Sorry but that is just the fact, retri gives unique and extremely usefull raidwide buffs, judgements. Not to forget their +2% damage to group. And about bash, yes, this is excellent one. :P

Savahax, my friend (iustita Nagrand EU) is doing 1000+ dps in all raids (with melee group ofc) and he's in full P V P gear.. its nps for a paladin to rock the dmg meter. last time he was on a 4th place on the dmg meter when we ended SSC (he's social so never come to Hyjall or higher)

its all about actully TRYING to get up there, pretty much all classes can get on the top5 in raids, with TRYING to get up there, best gems, best rotations and knowledge of how to use Omen.
