Old crafty isnt hard to get anymore. If you have the Crocolisks in the city quests old crafty has a really high drop chance. Got him on my first catch. Next time i tried it took me 3 catches

Actually, this could have been easily completed by an alliance with the crocs quest, as listed above by AB4. The problem is the people who didn't read that and then posted about "perfect timing" and RNG.
