Logging out removes you from groups usually?

99.9% of the time, yeah, but not 100%. The chances of staying in the group are slightly higher if you are in an inn or a city, or pretty much 100% if you get disconnected instead of willingly logging out.

if you willingly log out, waiting the full 10 sec, you leave party, you log out in an inn, you leave party, you wait for full 10 secs to quit game, you leave party. you dc, you dont leave party until certain amouny of time, you force quit, you dont leave party, etc.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, there are no male elves in WoW, just female and more female. The opposite is true for Orcs and Dwarves.

Gernajin here! I didn't "log off" via the menu, I faked a DC by just shutting the game down. I play in windowed mode so I can just 'X' out. Thanks for all the comments.
