Misunderstandings like this are quite common, I actually had a single mother of 2 girls interested in asking me out. Granted I'm not quite at the age where I'm interested in having kids, so I let her down easy and just told her the truth. Although I can understand the guy's speechlessness, hitting on a WoWMum is pretty awkward.
