Pretty sure it's against server rules to trick people in to thinking they were reported as AFK, and could get you a couple of hours ban. Not sure though. But also we've already got loads of these kinds of wowbashes. It's almost as plentiful as "/gquit" 'pranks'.

I got thoroughly pissed the first time this happened to me, mostly because I've never been "flagged" as afk before since I'm always trying to tell the morons you don't need to cap any graveyards to really win when you have competent healers. They still think we need FWRH in order to kill Drek. Reason 324 why I haven't gotten Alterac Blitz yet.

haha I do this everytime Im in a bg. my macro is /e has reported you as AFK. To remove this flag type /afk this gets rid of the idiots. People say they have reported me several times. I get whispers that they reported me but I still havent gotten banned yet

CLEARLY, the best thing to do is to make other people have less fun so that you can get like 100 more honor for gear that will be obsolete in the next content patch. Because, you know, people who like BGs like AV, the pseudo-PvP PvE clusterfuck that it normally is, where PvP happens maybe 3 times a match... FYI, ABs above, I've never fallen for it, and I still think you're assholes for doing it. Shitty people know the trick, you're only tricking new people.

Well, a) It's impossible to be shitty as a pally, b)I never said only shitty people know the trick , and c)a period implies the end of a thought, so the shitty does not, in fact, need to have anything to do with me. What you choose to imply from the fact that you need to code in separate paragraphs in comments rather than just pressing enter is incorrect. I am, however, shitty at paragraph composition, using code in these comments, and making my ideas expressly clear or coming back to proofread and respond to myself as needed.

I fell for this in my first BG when i was a newbie to PvPing... I think its one of the reasons I now hate PvP because you have elitist twats who do this, its not funny, its not clever and gets you in trouble, I just enjoy reporting every twat that does it ^^
